Interprotect Primers
High Performance Epoxy Primer for Steel, Aluminium and Wood

Interprotect® is a quick drying, easy to apply two-pack epoxy primer for high performance protection on all rigid substrates. It's two-component application gives excellent anti-corrosive and abrasion resistance properties and it can be used equally above or below the waterline.

Note: Overcoating times relate to Brush/Roller application. For other antifoulings, not specifically listed, use the Micron Extra overcoating
times. If maximum overcoating time is exceeded, sand with 180-220 grade wet or dry paper.

APPLICATION AND USE
Preparation STEEL Degrease with solvent or Super Cleaner. Gritblast to Sa 2½ - near white metal surface. If gritblasting is not
possible, grind the metal surface with 24-36 grit abrasive discs to a uniform, clean, bright metal surface with a 50-75
microns anchor pattern. Use angle grinder on small areas.
ALUMINIUM
Above water: Degrease with Super Cleaner. Pre-prime using Etch Primer. Alternatively, abrade with aluminium
compatible paper or low pressure grit blast using aluminium oxide.
Below water: Degrease AND abrade or grit blast.
ZINC/GALVANISED STEEL Thoroughly degrease with Super Cleaner. Pre-prime using Etch Primer.
STAINLESS STEEL Light gritblast to produce a profile of 50 microns prior to applying a thinned coat of Interprotect as a
